The day I decided to make cabbage soup.

3 carrots
1 pack pre-cut broccoli + cauliflower
1 onion
½ cabbage

Skinned + chopped the carrots / sliced onion, plucked + tore cabbage in a sporadic manner / added oil in pot / threw in sliced onions to fry till soft / added 4 cups of water / threw in carrots / leave to boil / threw in broccoli + cauliflower / realise pot wasn't big enough / gently balanced cabbage on top of broccoli + cauliflower / leave to cook for a bit / stir / stand / stir / stand / stir / cover / boil until cabbage turn transparent-ish / stir / realise soup was spilling over / drink a little / cover / stir / cover / stir / cover / stir / cover / chat for a bit with housemates / realise soup boiled over the pot / freak out / stir / turn off fire / decide I was no longer hungry / leave pot full of vegetables on stove for tomorrow.

This is the most exciting it gets in a day of my life.
